England had a mix up running just now where after they had stopped, the umpire signalled it a dead ball as Sibley hadn’t offered a shot.

Would Root have been run out if he hadn’t made his ground or would it still have been a dead ball?
He wouldn't be out. The game is dead from the moment the umpire calls it.

I like Isa Guha, the cricket reporter for the BBC
I was thinking exactly the same at about 0740 this morning. Shes a happy soul too but she did know that Klopp moaning about our records was on next.

i find test cricket without fans worst than football without fans ? cricketers and bowlers need that energy. england without the barmy army and the fans in fancy dress and the tv picking them out and having a joke and a laugh makes it a joy watching at home, bumble needs the crowds to bounce off
he always finds the crack pots, somebody in the crowds doing something other than watching cricket BINGO bumble is in like a flash haha

england are doing just ok today ? and if the west Indies did not pick up injuries england would have been rolled over again, also we got some luck and drop catches bad fielding and 200 on the board for 3 wickets is ok, BUT if tomorrow morning england think job done then think again ? the weather is looking really good for the weekend and warm and sunny so we will need 350/400 because its going to be a batters dream over the weekend

WI have been very disappointing after an impressive outing in the first test. Gabriel doesn’t look fully fit.

bat hard for another 40 overs, reach 500+ and put them in for 15 overs

lose tomorrow's play, enforce follow on, clean up Monday, move on for the decider.
