So the way to hopefully get him to reach the consistent level people want of him is you give him even less game time? Has that ever worked?

Makes no difference how many games he gets. His position & style of play centrally does not work. He has had a good run of games with Aguero injuries but he’s never made it his position sadly. His work rate is not in question but he’s not going to be our main striker next season & Aguero will miss a third of it with injuries. We need to buy a goal scorer

Badly want the kid to do well, but it has been 3 years and it's not happening for him. He plays with passion and never stops trying, but don't think he'll make it here. He's not someone who will score a goal out of nowhere in a tight game, basic striker qualities like decision making, first-touch, lethal instinct are not there, needs multiple chances. Final game of last season, Sergio scored the equalizer in a tight situation within minutes of us conceding while Jesus would have probably lost the ball. People go on about his stats, if you play upfront in team like ours given the amount of chances we create, it's bare minimum. Don't think he would really start up front for any top 8 club, would swap him for even Calvert-Lewin in a heartbeat. Anyone thinking he will eventually come good is just fooling himself. Need a replacement, maybe put in a bid for Kane just to piss off Jose.

He has been given consistent game time since restart and whenever Sergio has been injured. The issue is that he has consistently failed to leave a mark on the team during those periods. He only performs when we don’t play him as an ST (Madrid where he still managed to miss a sitter in the first half). Perhaps it is time to switch him to a different position forever. We need a new ST to fill in for Aguero.

Sane, Bernardo, Foden, Laporte, Mahrez and Kevin De Bruyne?? KDB was nowhere this good under Pellegrini.

Bernado? He’s was superb and one of the hottest prospects in Europe when we bought him. Since being here he’s managed one good season out of 3. Mahrez won player of the year whilst at Leicester and is nowhere near played of the year level currently despite having a decent season. Foden?

Who do you think was playing striker vs. Madrid?
