CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Unfortunately, and I am very reluctant to say this, the only way this
type of situation can be resolved, is to bin your wife. She will then confront
her rancid arsehole of a father with the revelation that his blind adoration of the Rags has
prompted her beloved to show her the door. If the twat doesn't change his fucking tune
toot suite after this, just smack him, and make sure your Mrs shows no sympathy.
And the father would just retort "I told you so......"

It maybe a good thing that the report hasn't been released yet, after today their will be a shortage of football for a couple of weeks so less news for the media to bury it under

Sounds about right.

Funnily enough, the other half supports that lot and she’s thought all along that this is a disgraceful witch hunt against our club. Sure, maybe some of that is down to hanging around with me for too long but she’s also capable of thinking for herself and isn’t as tribal as many football fans so despite not being a blue can look at things with a bit more balance. I’m not sure how balanced the following is but it’s interesting that it’s not the thoughts of a paranoid City fan:

She thought the Der Spiegel articles were a crock of biased shite, has always believed UEFA to be corrupt so doesn’t trust anything they do, feels there are a bunch of individuals and clubs who are jealous of City (including her own), and has been astonished to see the pile-on from so many British journalists who assumed we were guilty as fuck right from the outset!

I would have told him exactly this "Fucking grow up and until you can engage in a civil adult conversation, don't ever talk to me about football again"

Make that one week. Remember next week will be consumed in productions of colour supplements. 12 page pull outs and centre spreads

she’s a keeper

My father in law (utd fan) has just basically slaughtered any argument my wife had about FFP, cas, uefa , wouldn't even listen to her reasoning, just shut her down at every chance, regurgitated all the shit out of the newspapers.

This tribal shit has really stuck.

I’d tell him all your grand kids are City fans & think you a ****!

Just ask him, does social media do all of your thinking for you. In my experience I've only ever received a blank look which is of course the answer you're looking for. You can walk away with a cheery look on your face knowing that an IQ test isn't necessary.

I think the media generally would be wise to keep its powder dry pending publication of the CAS verdict.
Even my limited English was unable to get anything other than total exoneration for the historical FFP charge. It was stated in capital letters and a separate sentence from the fine related offence.
Surely the mixing of sentences cannot be construed as anything other than deliberate by those whose job involved wordsmith qualifications?
I
Strange how the legal CAS verdict is ignored when the media earn their living from within the same legal framework as CAS and not the proven incorrect UEFA compliance with its own rules.

Now if it was made public that FIFA have waived the fine in exchange for City's agreeing not to release the full judgement ...

"In a spirit of cooperation City have agreed to this, subject to having the referee from the first leg v Real have charge of all our CL matches ..."
Could we get the independent CAS judges to ref that too??

Should UEFA appeal to the Swiss courts, that's what we will have to wait and see. Then we'll see what we have on those clubs who are so against us. Then should we then prove that UEFA only charged us with breaking FFP on their day so. It would then be impossible for UEFA to continue us running football, without the whole of the UEFA organisations resigning on masse.

What colour is the sky on your planet?

You have to remember that some very senior journalists have had their arses handed to them by a more knowledgable set of football supporters. They were never going to take that lying down. They'll squirm like the vicious rats they are.

Genuine question(s), how old are you and do you or your carer type the words?
