Very effective

I was surprised it was taken down actually - afterall it wasn't really an argument - just a bunch of Remainers queuing up to support each other to shout down the patently obvious truth posted by a single Leaver

There seems to be a few mainly blank pages - so the support group seem to have gotten back together

Just on the point that caused distraction yesterday - and just so that the subject can be put to bed - the truth is easily discerned - for those interested in the truth....

If Smith was interviewed today and asked the question:

"So Mr Smith - after your recent comments - would it be true to interpret them as reflecting that now your understanding of Brexit is that it is a crock of shit?"

If the answer is likely to be Yes - then I was wrong

If the answer is likely to be No - as 100% of posters on here would know would be the case - then I was 100% correct and all the Remainers that were queuing up to twist and squirm were 100% wrong

That is the last word that needs to be said on the subject - so I will not bother with anymore responses to desperate bluster and distraction

NO.

Well he would say that, wouldn't he?

You know the answer is to have two threads. One (call it Brexit R) were Remainers can debate and discuss the shitshow sensibly and the other (Brexit L) for the others to entertain themselves.

It would be a great deal better than this where one side shouts over the wall at the other trying to provoke a reaction. I think I have had all I can take of 'easily discerned and obvious truths'. If I stick around I know I will breach the coc badly. Maybe a couple of weeks off will recharge my batteries for this shit.

I strongly recommend using the ignore function for the posters that have nothing of value to add to this topic. Give it a try for a week or two.

I suggested the Brexit R option last year. But the Brexit Ls would still come on to say they'd won... I suppose those who want to discuss the shitshow sensibly could just ignore them all, but then they'd think they'd won again.

Anyone want to discuss the latest Brexit boost? Tell the government how to make your kettle more efficient.

Would the EU really have stopped us developing more efficient kettles?

er of course they would have - they have a very large group on anti-kettle-ist elites you know - its their two big plans - make everyone boil water in a pan on a stove top and have their own army to enforce the new coffee making EU directives.

Oh - and straight bananas.

Had a suspiciously straight banana at lunch time today. No more of that nonsense after January. Hopefully the government will ban them along with metres and kilograms. We might even get our shillings and thrupnee bits back if we’re lucky.

A florin - we want the florin back in circulation or Brexit will not have happened.

This.

I've been largely ignoring every single remainer for the last 4 years and will continue to do so.

All getting a bit fractious today gents. Try yoga or meditation, maybe even an afternoon nap. You are just winding yourselves up into having little tantrums again and you'll just end up with everyone laughing at you and the thread getting pulled again. Chill, and play nice.
That deal was signed by Boris (king of brexit). A deal agreed in a timescale that he controlled - he could have ripped it up and started again but we all know he would have done nothing better and he likes doing things at the 11th hour where there is no time for scrutiny. It is 100% his WA, the deal he sold to the nation as 'oven ready' - 'a great deal', he said it a hundred times on the election campaign so you cant disown it now! Unless you accept he was lying just to get elected.

Brexit will always be a shit deal - spin it how you want - it will be a shit WA followed by a shit trade deal or no deal which is also shit. Remainers with the support of the brexit ultras only ever delayed it everything else has been done at the hands of leavers.

Leavers have to own it. None of this 'should have been different' bollocks. It was always going to be shit and the likes of IDS have to own it.
Well said.

Just read the last 6 pages of this thread. Not one leaver out of the 3 has managed to make any valid points after the remainers have had a field day pointing out the lies and future shit coming. Lot of distraction and fingers in ears though.

How can you argue with people that post actual photos of things that haven't happened yet? There is a radicalised/extreme element to the remain view that actively courts disaster to prove itself right. It's like the Christian fundamentalists wishing for the end of days. It's the same as those stop the war nut jobs that converted to Islam and became radicalised islamists all in the name of opposing Blairs foreign policy in 2003.

This will continue to be the case for the next 10-20 years.

You do realise that when there is economic damage evident by Brexit then Remainers won't have brought that upon the country - the Leavers will have done so by voting Leave. Nobody is courting disaster - all the stuff that was dubbed Project Fear is gradually coming to be - sorry for the Leavers who don't want it to be - newsflash:- nor do Remainers

Bang on.

I find it incredible that the leavers on here think we want the shit that we believe Brexit will bring to come true. Nothing could be further from the truth.

We all live in the sams country ffs and will all suffer from the stupidity of Brexit. I would love to be wrong and everything turns out to be wonderful but unfortunately I don't believe in fairy tales.

Wow.
You do post some real shit don’t you.

.....says a remainer.

That wasn't a dig btw but let's not even pretend you are looking for anything in a post from a leave voter other than to claim they had nothing to say.

This debate is well and truly over. Remainers think they are right, leavers think they will be proven right.

We should all come back when the future picture tells us which one of was was correct although my best guess is it won't and even if it did, no **** on either side of this will ever admit to being wrong anyway.

If it happens then fine, but I think it will be difficult to distinguish brexit damage from covid damage.
