I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we are signing Latauro Martinez, one of Aouar or Grealish, and Diego Carlos.

Don't think Txiki could care less about the price, if his bosses are happy. Don't see any reason we wouldn't pay 100 mill for he right player , just because we haven't felt the need before.

I think we have been looking for a few years but outside of the big european sides there are not many strikers doing bits year in year out. No point taking the best young striker out there if they are not that great and massively overpriced. Might as well give it another year and see what happens. We have played without a striker a number of times and its been fine.

I seem to remember an earlier report saying Aguero had tipped the club off to his talents but whether that's true or just a case of a journo thinking "if I mention Aguero it'll give my article a bit more weight" I'm not sure.
