Dead man walking. No one will have any respect for him as a coach after he bottled a game like that. Simply no excuse.
City should fire him because he can't lead the club now. How do you listen to a coach talk tactics and take instructions from a coach who makes a completely moronic team selection and then compounds it by doing nothing for an hour? No coach should recover from that.
I hope our management have the bottle and respect for the players and fans to fire him. You simply do not make mistakes like that at this level in football and carry on as normal. He might be able to rebuild his career at barcelona but I cannot see the likes of KDB listening to him

All well and good, but that’s 4 years in a row he’s made a bollocks of this competition. We wasted an hour tonight with an absolute clusterfuck of a team selection and tactics. Even Pep only has a finite number of lives.....

so we can’t question king pep now?!! he’s an arrogant **** who’s lost us derby games cos he thinks he’s too clever and derby games don’t mean anything to us fans!!! and taking lyon easy thinking ahead to wednesday and munich.. he’s fucked up once again but it’s king pep so let’s just be grateful cos we’re little city and lucky to have king pep and his barca boys so let’s carry on eh?! same again next season in champions league.....No it's actually from people that call themselves City fans.

Defend is team selection then. This is the CL quarter final, not the league Cup. You must play your strongest side and play every game to win with a team that gives you the best chance. Playing Fernandinho, Gundog and Rodri together was the height of arrogance. i can only think that he thought we could beat Lyon with that and then have rested players for Bayern.No it's actually from people that call themselves City fans.

I've supported City all my life, through bad times and the good. But never have I known any city coach make such an idiotic decision as pep made tonight.
You simply don't carry on as if nothing happened. This changes everything because I think the players will have lost respect for the coach.

No, not getting past a CL 1/4 final when he was hired to win it is why people will question him staying. That team selection tonight was a two fingered salute to the fans IMO.
