Agreed we need another CB for sure maybe even 2 more. Keep Laporte on his toes as he was poor last night.. We need someone with a bit of experience at the back.. Just not sure about that lad from NapoliWe need a CDM that can tackle and help Rodri, I really don't understand why we are not in for Partey 50mil release clause, rodri played amazing with him as well.

Right up there but I think our finishing is a bigger issue. We create an insane number of chances and regularly piss them away. We dominated most of the games we lost this season and whilst defensive errors played a part ultimately we would’ve won most of them if we’d put the ball in the back of the net - complete different game when we are 1-0 or 2-0 up than when a game is level because of the way teams sit deep and defend against us.What about our shocking defence..?? I don’t think our defensive frailties will ever fully go away under Pep no matter who we bring in because of the way he makes us play. That being said I agree that we need a new CB at the very least.
I think we are really overlooking that when we did 100 points, we had a makeshift lb, I think that season the reason we didn't concede a lot of goals was Fernandinho he was everywhere in midfield won so much in that midfield that season which helped our defence immensely, we don't have that anymore no power or aggression in that CDM position.

If both Stones & Otamendi are going, we would then have Laporte, Ake & Garcia, who doesn't want to play for us, as cb options.
So, after Garcia has played Offside Roulette time & again & we've lost to some fucking no mark attack yet again & again & Laporte has joined Stones on his 19th nervous breakdown, we have Fernandinho & Ake, for the winter schedule.
If Stones is staying, then, seeing as Pep doesn't play him, the above still counts except Stones gets to have a go at some point.

Everyone knows we are definitely getting another CB, the only question is which one it ends up being. Seems like a bit of a pointless rant.

If you’re happy with annual QF exits from the CL then we should definitely persist with the current team. When a team stagnates you press the refresh button. That is how we got two consecutive PL titles, by upgrading the team and not staying with players like Sagna, Clichy and etc.
of course I want to improve but I trust the club based on what business we have done and the strong rumours I think we are going to have the best transfer window since we bought Silva and co in 2010 11 my main point was I don’t mind people wanting improvements in the squad but it should be where it’s needed not in positions in which we have just strengthened this window by all means ask for a new left back a cb or midfielder but let’s not be asking to replace the winger we have only just bought a week ago before we have even seen him play for us

People were discussing the various positions but this is no1 priority, which can't be papered over.
