Would have him every day of the week. He pays for himself and would put the profile of the club onto the next level.

When I went to watch Barcelona last season (on the same weekend as when City played Burnley away) there were Americans and Argentinians there to just watch Messi. The fans all around me weren't even Spanish they were all tourists watching 1 man. The stadium tour was literally the Lionel Messi tour.

He makes so much money for that club. Imagine the money he'd bring into the club just by shirt sales alone! Mental.
Puma get the shirt sale money,City get a small slice.

Think about this scenario ...

Messi signs for United , are you gutted or think we have dodged a bullet ?

They in worse shape than we are. Both haven't got the team around him and we don't know for sure if he has any real desire to play in England

In 2016/17 City went as far as to sound out sponsors to see what they'd pay extra if Messi arrived. I wouldn't rule out the possibility we have it written into our Puma contract that it goes up or is renegotiated if he arrived.

Adidas redid their deal with Ronaldo when he arrived (as did Jeep etc.)

This the last year of the Etihad deal as well.

Dunno mate,i'll take your word for it.
Just pointing out that clubs don't make that much on shirt sales....I'd be surprised if any club breaks 3 million shirts sold.
