IMO He'll go after the Euros.

He's not worth getting rid of, everyone needs a utility player and he's on piddling wages. We aren't going to struggle to get under the 17 foreign player limit. This is the worst possible year to sell him because of COVID.

He's the star player in the Ukraine side, and Euro 2021 is the perfect shop window for him to get a big move. They're dark horses, he'll be well rested because he won't play too much here, and he'll do great.

I do love Zinchenko and his attitude but he's not good enough for us now. He doesn't really have a position in the side. He's not a good left back and he isn't getting above the midfielders we have in midfield.

Time to move him on if a reasonable offer comes around. If not, it won't hurt us to keep him as a utility player.

It would be a big mistake if we let him go right now. Not many cheap players are this versatile. He's our 25th player, a utility player. He's professional, everybody loves him in the dressing room, never causes problems and he loves the club. I think the only reason he dropped the ball against Spurs is because he was so keen on giving everything to grab the position. He made a mistake against Southampton, but let's be fair, we had 75 minutes to turn the result around and we weren't good enough.

He's lost value due to lack of minutes and covid situation. Next summer Ukraine will be at the Euro and he'll deliver, given that he's their star player. We can sell him then if needed.

I like Zinch. He's unfortunate not to have ever played in his favoured position for us. He should have joined Wolves when he had the chance. He would make a decent CDM in a mid-table team.

The problem is the valuable squad place he takes, I think he will be moved out this summer.

Can't believe we didn't take the 16million wolves offered. Having said that, I have seen him play for the Ukraine on about 3 occasions and he totally dominated the CM role, not sure why Pep can't give him a chance there! We get it, Gundogan was Pep's first signing here and thus has a special place in Pep's heart but this Pep-Gundogan love story has ran its course. Time to bring an end to the Gundogan project, play Bernardo,Foden, Zinch or bring back Luiz from Villa and play him there. The Gundogan signing just hasn't turned out to be what Pep expected and that's ok, we all make mistakes, Ppe has to realiz this and let Gundogan go!

Zinchenko completely crushed it in both games against Portugal as a CM. Totally agree with you.

I thought we did take it? He decided he wanted to stay at City and rejected the move and in all fairness it paid off for both parties as he did well at left back in the following season. But for what it’s worth I would move him on now if possible.

Is the correct answer.

He's worth well more than that on today's market, we can't keep giving players away

Zinchenko like Delph did well at LB initially but longer term his weakness in an unfamiliar position has been exposed. The lad needs to move on and play in his preferred position. Personally if we sell him, I’d put a buy back and sell on clause in his contract because we really don’t know how good he will be in CM, particularly with a run of games in a settled side.

Good idea. We ask for a lower fee like £15m and include a buyback clause and sell on like you said.

Think it’d be a reasonable fee.

He’s a good lad and we need to do right by him and send him off to the right team - where he can prosper rather than hawk him off for the highest fee. Would sooner see him at somewhere like Dortmund or Monchengladbach than Napoli.

Yes, definitely talented. Just not a leftback. He’s been a top professional with us.
