Mendy will have one more season, with potentially cover from Angelino, Cancelo and Ake.

It is an obvious week area, but potentially a competitive one.

With 2 years left on his contract he is not going anywhere. If he does not make it his own he will be out next season and that time we will look to buy.

I think Zinchenko will go and will be a great signing for someone, as it doesn’t seem like Red Bull will pay for Angelino and he is Association trained so could be a better squad option.

I think a lot of opposing teams will attack down the right!

French media will be getting all their info from Lyon and from the players' agent. In both instances it will make perfect sense to throw City's name in the mix.

Could be wrong, but get the feeling interest was certainly there - like apparently Chilwell last year - and City have pulled out for whatever reason, but can’t help but feel he’ll be a player we regret missing out on. Personally don’t see it happening if City are briefing we don’t want him.
