Maybe just me then but Cook made me cringe every time he opened his mouth

You can call him on his personality, but you can't question his business prowess.

Took us to the next level behind the scenes and we never topped his dealings in the transfer market.

You might be right but Messi has enough money, he wants to add big trophies and Barca ain't offering that opportunity over the next 2 seasons in which Messi can still be Messi. If he wants to win titles in another big league and the CL, no bet would be better than a reunion with Pep. Chances are we are getting him. I just hope it's not at the expense of losing Bernardo or Jesus. We'll need players like them to compensate for Messi's weaknesses wrt high pressing.
It's possible, but we also know people with money want one thing more than anything, more money :D

True but his Del boy ways were at odds to the way our owners seemed to be.
Like you say though, he helped take us to the next level so i shouldn't be too harsh

Sounds to me like he'll come and it's already in motion but how he leaves is the major problem. If he does come then we'll get a couple of years out of him and then I reckon he'll go back with Pep to Barcelona to retire.

Sergio is also on his last year but he might extend so they could have a couple of golden years and then it's their last chance to win a World Cup in 2022.

It all seems to fit and I can only see him staying before he goes to any other club than us. Barcelona desperately need the money to rebuild and this will be one of their only chances to cash in.

Another lure for him could be his rivalry with Ronaldo as the best player ever. Ronaldo has won titles and proved himself in other countries , Messi has yet to do that.

Fuck me, spent hours catching up... Slow down I'm trying to "work" here.

I clearly have my doubts of this if it happened, both in regards to it actually coming off and in how it may disrupt us as a team. But suggestion is Pep has signed or going to sign a 2 year extension giving him another 3 seasons including this current one, Messi is looking for a 3 year some suggested last night, Aguero has 1 left so offer him 2 year extension and all 3 would be off at the same time. Could we handle that? Messi to sign for 3 but play for 2 then go to NYCFC would be a good plan for us as a club and in relation to finances.
I get the fact we'd suddenly be overrun with sponsors wanting a piece but I also find it interesting the Club have been talking about Etihad continuing their sponsorship, maybe they'll do a deal to just sponsor the campus at a higher rate then we see a new UAE based shirt sponsor such as Etislat? This would then fund a deal happening.
I just fear we are either being played or we are facing a similar situation to the Kaka courting.

If Messi leaves they need to sign someone massive. Neymar would be a target for them. Alternatively hopefully Sancho to boil the piss of the rags.
They can't put forward £20m for Eric Garcia, plus they're already paying extra to Liverpool for Coutinho winning CL. A lot of their old players have little value and are on massive wages. They won't be able to afford a big signing this summer unless one of the familiar names makes a move.

Why is it a major problem?

He comes in, wins the CL with Aguero and Pep then they all go on. Win win.

Oh no, not up to SebastianBlue standards!
Please enlighten me, what has your investigation concluded?
That you’re not very good at this — I thought that was clear from the previous post.

Also, you’ll need an umbrella today.
