sadly that is true one season to milk the last bit of money of somebody else

but if we could get him now and 3 to 5 years of premier league football manchester city would be the talk of world football
every tom dick and harry would have city tops on with messi every tv advert would be messi and nike and city the transfer fee city would have to pay would be raked in the first season and they would be no stopping manchester city both on or off the field

the things with players like messi and ronaldo they sell merchandise at the club shirt sales go out of the window and everything from key rings to pants its a great market to tap into and manchester city need something like that for the overseas fan base

Hopefully in a year or 2, this is exactly what Gabriel Jesus will be around the world
 
Only thing I could see messi ever leaving for would be the board at barcelona. With pep I think we'd be his most likely destination (dependent on age). However something would have to REALLY fuck up for that to happen.
