Give it a break Marv, your like a broken recordThe unknown is whether City will seek to agree terms with Messi without barcelona's agreement.
Could City negotiate with Messi without the consent of barcelona on the basis that we believe he is contractually free of barcelona?
How could FIFA regard that as tapping up or an illegal approach if there's a legal basis to argue he is free at the time - even if it is subsequently determined that he is not!! Another minefield. I would if I were City try and do this with the Barcelona board's agreement even if it means paying a significant but small fee.
Are you joining too?
That's the biggest sign that he's joining us that I've heard up to now imo.Repost of his (Estiarte's) brother an hour ago. Photo is of Messi and Mama Estiarte.
Text reads "Thanks for making my mom happy. Thank you for making so many people happy. Now it's time to help you be happy !!!"
So.....
Manel Estiarte has removed his repost so it doesn't appear anymore on his timeline... he shall regret to put light on it yet
Maybe some City officials checked the forum? Now deleted.
The same topics are being discussed by every City fan. can we sign him on a free transfer or not?Give it a break Marv, your like a broken record
that sounds even better ^^doubt it, not the first time a staff member has leaked something for a bit. Obviously a tactic.

Yep it’s a done deal.
Only you are saying throw a freebie for goodwillThe same topics are being discussed by every City fan. can we sign him on a free transfer or not?
Anyone not wanting Messi needs their head testing. As bad as Merson!
He is not only an extremely special footballer, but he will catapult the club to new levels off the pitch as well. We aren't just a football club, we are a business, a global brand. Bringing Messi to City would do wonders for our brand globally. We will acquire 20m fans minimum overnight just because of Messi and it will put the club firmly on the map alongside Europe's elite.
We will have to wait and see how this plays out, if they do honour this grace period within his contract, then he could potentially walk away for nothing. I personally think that this grace period should be honoured. Yes i understand that a specific date in June had been written into the contract, but going through a global pandemic will have changed matters. Most companies now have been allowed grace periods to issue their company accounts annually, so why can't Messi have this grace period to have the option to cancel his contract? After all, the season (CL) only finished on Sunday.
If we do sign Messi, there will be no more "City are a lickle club" jibe who nobody cares about... City will have pulled off the most amazing transfer in football history that will have the world gushing or seething. That lickle ickllleeee City will be the talk of the land.
Sheikh Mansour when he bought the club didn't envisage his dream would be to sign the likes of Bony, Nolito, Jo, Rodwell, Scott Sinclair etc. They have bought the club for days like this... to bring the worlds most famous sports star to the Stade De Etihad, the Theatre of the Arab Kings.
This is Khaldoon's calling card, this is his big moment. Bring us Messi and propel this wonderful football club to a completely different stratosphere.
Has anyone heard from the Cheeseman? :)Isn't Estiarte the one who posted the photo of Pep, Txiki, and the rest of the gang celebrating the CAS ruling? He has form for putting things up that City would probably prefer he didn't.
Hope he likes sticky carpets!Where in the world is Messi right now?
Near Barcelona?
Argentina?
or
Having a swift one in Mary D's to steady the nerves?
I doubt it.If Messi does sign for us, put money on Raz getting a Balon D'Or or PL player of the year, he would score an unbelievable amount of goals with Kev and Messi providing the assists
