I show a piccy (not on here) of the then soon to be Mrs Moon with my banana ;) when abroad chatting to locals, other fans, from how she's aged, not in a bad way, it shows longtivity and they either wander off or want a proper football discussion.

In reality I’m sure that’s how it would play out NK. I would imagine the 3 & 2 is indicative, not to mention speculative

Nobody said he will stay due to family. It was a twisting of quotes. He said he used to think Messi would not want his kids to go through what he did when he moved at a young age, but now here we are and Messi is ready to do it.

 
I really hope a decision is made quickly on this, either Barca dismiss it or City do, or vice versa. Can't let it drag on until deadline day, more important business to get done.

He’s busy saying that nobody should be having a go at slab head, as he’s launched an appeal. I’ve heard of a lack of self awareness but he’s on a whole different level, the wankstain....
 
The transfer fee is the sticking point as we can’t have another legal case hanging over us, so do need to come to an agreement with Barca.

We can only hope that they appreciate Messi’s wishes and do not price him out, which they could.

Signing Messi would be a watershed moment for any club, but for us it would be beyond measure. It would given credence and respect to what we have achieved.

It would be the moment that set us on our path to becoming a true top tier of club, above Paris, Liverpool etc.

Where people say the deal will pay for itself, it will but probably not as quickly as people assume. However, the legacy of signing him for his 3 years of playing might move the project 10 years on. It will have a significant impact on his catching United up in terms of revenue and pulling away from Chelsea/ Arsenal etc.

For those worried about age, take confidence in the fact Messi would only come here if he feels he can enhance his reputation by doing so.

He has all the money he ever needs and he would need this move to be a success to enhance his reputation.

He would be extremely motivated!

We might also get to see Pep for another 3 years if this deal goes through.

Quite simply put it’s a game changer
 
People still moaning about is age and debating if he can play for more then 2 seasons and press and run etc!!!

good players with football Brains like sheringham, scholes ,Lampard, Zlatan etc don’t need their pace and to run about and they all copped fine in the late 30s in this league , I think people think the premier league is a lot better then it is ffs.
