That was hardly the ‘fastest feet ever’ more shite defending by Varane. It’s ludicrous to state Jesus has the fastest feet of any player he’s ever seen. Ronaldinho, Hazard, Zidane, Maradona, Messi, Rivaldo, both Ronaldos there’s a significant list of players with better feet than Jesus.
Sometimes, just knowing that we have fans like you who are in a hundred metre dash to downplay anything positive by a City player fills me with a warm glow.

And anyone else who doesn't suit, from one week to the next ?

This is exactly one of the points I was making, in my reservations about signing Messi; it becomes all about him.

It's not all about him, it's a team & we will regret it, if we base our 60 game season on two old fuckers in the centre of our attack, even if they are Aguero & Messi. One is often injured & the other is due an injury.

It would be a stupid gamble to stick Messi in a squad with 1, old striker in it, who has barely ever played a decent game in a team with Messi.

Due an injury, Christ that’s a stretch isn’t it. I like Jesus and ideally wouldn’t want to lose him but we also can’t rely on him. Whenever he’s had to fill Agueros shoes he’s failed more often that not. Occasions he’s been great, Madrid games the best example but then there’s been the arsenal and Lyon game where he’s not stepped up. I don’t dislike him and ideally I want to keep him. If he was part of the deal I’d imagine a striker wouldn’t be long from coming in as back up

I don’t believe for a minute we are “pimping” any of our players out. I believe they may be asking about them.. two completely different things. Too much piss and wind on social media platforms and 24 hour “sports news” channels equals mountains of steaming bull shit. I hope Messi comes and I trust Txiki Pep, Soriano, and Khaldoon Al Mubarak to do whatever is best for Us.

Utter bollocks.

I'd be a lot happier to nail down the CB we desperately need before spunking a huge fortune on a 3 years past his best prima donna who makes everything he does all about him.

Let some othe club have the drama.

Imagine, getting rid of Jesus and first game messi does his ACL. Next game Sergio does his knee again.

Not to mention that within a six month period he'd be agitating in the press for a move.

He apparently had his chance 7 or 8 years ago and turned us down. Fuck him. Nobody is bigger than the club.

Logged in, seen the coronation street thread was top of the page, cried a little, logged out.
Lousy cunts.

The only downside to Messi coming at this moment in time is that we may never get to see him live. Covid restrictions could still he in place so there won't be full attendances dt the Etihad
