Best case, Messi takes Barca, La Liga and Uefa to court and wins and we get him for free.

Just the possibility of that happening is worse so much. I think we probably get him for a fee but I want this to go to court so bad. Two court case wins in 6 months would be astronomical for us. From out of the CL to in it with Messi.

Of course it could all go wrong and we end up without him and I can deal with that. Its almost what this would mean in terms of the shift in power in the game over anything that may happen on the pitch. Just getting this far is a big deal.

In a thread celebrated because Lionel fucking Messi is effectively going on strike to force a (possibly free) move to City you’re really that arsed about a kid seeing out his contract in a way that he’s fully entitled to?

Ugh, no more court cases please. I just want to support a football club, last few years have needed a degree in contract law and middle eastern politics.
