I'm not seeing what is cheeky there.

Pep has said a while ago that eric wouldn't renew. Nothing new there, he is just echoing what we know. He IS still a city player and has a season left. Nothing new there. Till that changes, that really is all he can say.

I was presume he was asked, so saying what he said is more or less fuck all. He hasn't signed and as it stands isn't moving.

I don't understand why folks accept this tbh.

'I hope to fuck off in a year from now but in the meantime I'll play for City' is not usually considered a suitable attitude for our players.

But no rules of promotion on merit, performance or committment seem to apply to this kid.

I can't ever remember anyone else getting such leeway in each area.
