You've absolutely nailed it. The 8-2 defeat and not winning La Liga plus personal issues between himself and Bartomeu upset him and in a fit of pique he decides he wants out and there's his old boss at man City ( a club that's been courting him for years) ready and willing to take him. Then reality kicks in, in the form of Bartomeu playing hardball, and Messi caves in like a spoilt child.

Fuck me, those creative writing classes have paid off.

yep. Wouldn’t touch him next summer even if it was a free transfer.

Hasn't he missed today's training as well then?
So how does that fit into the narrative of him staying? He's been sat at home all day ...

its just bogging us down, move on and forget it, the season starts in just over a week ffs, we dont want to start with all this wrangling goin on it'll just be a distraction, we cant afford a slow start

Absolutely. Can't believe we send Pep and KdB to do the negotiation when they've better things to do...

You do realise that the club will have people who's job is to do just this and that the transfer window goes on for several weeks after the actual season starts, meaning several more ins and outs yet?

well thats another day at work down the drain .. on a more positive note i have caught up with the thread now.. it was on and off and possibly on again but now its at stalemate and could go either way??
