No he couldn't, players are typically tested twice a week and no doubt will be tested before leaving the England camp.

You do know that you can test negative in the morning and positive in the evening ,it takes some days to register on the test ,testing today won't mean a single thing ,he is on his way home ,she has probably chucked him out,he goes to his mums for a few nights,they see their parents ....this is how the virus gets us

M. Night Shyamalan would struggle to write a twist in this story which clears Phil of any wrongdoing.

People on here are talking as if they know he must have slept with one of them, when they have no idea if this happened.

If the footage that is being shown is it, then they are both sat on their phones. People are jumping to conclusions without knowing any facts and are very quick to turn on one of our own players.

If they just went into a different part of the hotel, which broke Covid rule, then it's unfortunate but not the heinous crime some are making it out to be. People should know not to believe everything they read in the gutter press. Judging by this thread everyone is a paragon of virtue who has never done anything wrong or even got a speeding ticket.

What's even stranger is that the icelandic newspaper that broke the story got it from a private snapchat, and approached the girls for comment, and they both refused to not get the lads into trouble. So this isn't a case like Kyle's, hiring an escort who sells their story.
