A lot of people haven't warmed to Mahrez because of that penalty miss. One of our top 3 players last year. Wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to move after being left out of the starting line up in the UCL 1/4 final.

I generally hope we are putting desire and attitude/work rate top on our scouting criteria. That's what makes the difference.

I think Mahrez is a fantastically talented player but he lacks bottle.. He pulls out of tackles and doesn't track back but I would rather have him at City than sell him to be honest.

I’d say the negative/positive split of posting in here is closer to 50/50 than you give credit for.I wouldn't go as far to say our transfer business so far has been a shambles, but it is weird that you're not allowed to express a negative opinion on it without being shouted down by the usual suspects. If Real offered a decent price, we would be crazy not to consider selling a 29 year old who has hardly set the world alight at City. I don’t trust the guy, he plays for himself. No doubt come the end of any season, he’s likely to be there or thereabouts for double figures for goals and assists but I think it masks his bang average performances over most 90mins. If he is going to stand around with his thumb up his arse for 85 minutes of most games, I want 25 goals a season from him like Liverpool get from Salah.
