He didn't believe in his team, which will have had a knock on effect on them too imo.

although he’s also a humble guy from what Ive read and heard, the very best adapt to those shortfalls in character and he’s in that category, he’s still a pup in terms of management, ridiculous as that sounds with the success he’s had!

He didn't believe that defence and changed plan in lyon's game. Pep's plan A works 96% of the time. Most of the time it is missed chances by front 3.

I can see why he didn't believe in his defence we have seen the issues all season especially against anyone with pace, but setting the team up the way he did, was basically him telling them I don't think you are good enough beat them, that must knock the confidence.

He'll have to get over what mental block he's got since being humbled in the CL at Bayern if he's going to keep progressing as you suggest. It's going to take an about turn to correct what we got wrong last season.

There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on.. shame on you. Fool me, you can't get fooled again.

To be fair to him in that instance he realised he was going to say "shame on me" on camera and his opponents would clip it and use it against him in attack ads, so he fumbled it on purpose.
