My bad, I'm still salty...

Lewandoski and Mueller are 6 feet tall. Aguero and Silva? It's not a lack of willingness, rather a lack of height that reduces our cross numbers. Also, anyone notice how willing B. Munich were to cross the ball, first time, on the run. The players who play on our wings are always on the wrong foot.
I will say again after two players got their full International call ups Doku, Camavinga and Zakaria, out of that Zakaria is the one we need now, the main reason our defence was poor last season was Rodri did not have the legs to cover all the holes that appeared

Good point. It's like Jesus gets on the end of a lot of crosses despite being average height thanks to good movement and jumping (shame he's not too great at heading).Tim Cahill is 5'10" and had made a career out being an aerial threat. Harry Kane is 6'2" and he is more known to be a poacher than an aerial threat. Height means little. Timing of the runs and jump is key.
Yes, there are exceptions. But by and large, taller players are better in the air. Tim Cahill is average height and an exceptional header. Aguero is a pretty good one for his height. But Dave is damn near useless with the outside of his head. No surprise there, the inside of his head is magical.Tim Cahill is 5'10" and had made a career out being an aerial threat. The strike radius for a taller player is just greater. Yes, you have your exceptional short leapers. And your Crocodile neck tall guys (Yaya being a good example). But by and large taller players score more goals with their head.
What’s Jan Koller up to these days?

Actually that's not correct. There a lots of tall players who aren't great in the air. But a majority of them are good on the air. Only a slight minority fall into the Not Good category. The inverse is almost the case for short players.More of the rule though. There are plenty of tall players not being very good in the air

Even from a confidence standpoint, the crosser of the ball is more likely to whip it in the air with two 6 footers or above running into the box than he is with two 5'6 guys. Especially when they are being defended by 6'1 Central defenders.
Some ideas just fail the eye test.
Yes, having great timing can makeup for a lack of height, but height in of itself with everything else equal is a significant advantage.its still down to the timing and nothing to do with the height
its still down to the timing and nothing to do with the height. Aggression helps as well.
A player with the height of Jesus Navas can be the best "timing" master in the world but he would never jump high enough to beat a 6ft tall defender in the air. Drop the argument, you can't go against nature! Even in basketball, Iverson never dunked over taller players, he based his game on dribbling, trickery and 3 pointers.
