Exactly, already we seem to be talking about putting square pegs in round holes, pep saying Sterling could play there or Torres for that matter. They can't they really can't, and we shouldn't even be thinking about that tbqh. I think this is going to be such a poor start to the season.Highly doubtful we'd get a striker now.
Knowing Pep he'll probably play Gundogan as a false 9.
LOL 75m to Dortmund, 50m to his agent, not a chance our club will be involved in that deal.Haaland is the best and really the only option, has ties to the club, his father will back the move, he's young, a great replacement for Sergio, just a shame we we can't get him this window, as I fear age might be catching up on Sergio. We need to make a move for him early in Jan, get the ball rolling and not piss a round like we are doing this window
The guy was hounded out the first time, he was treated appallingly by most supporters. If we get anybody get Edin!
Don't think it was that bad. More to do with signing Bony. He is still absolutely class in his mid thirties. The guy was hounded out the first time, he was treated appallingly by most supporters.

He was a figure of hate, a great player, scorer of important goals and a gentleman who took to the club and City.Don't think it was that bad. More to do with signing Bony. He is still absolutely class in his mid thirties.
Better condition than Aguero :)
I agree too many moaning about both at the time.He was a figure of hate, a great player, scorer of important goals and a gentleman who took to the club and City.
He and Kolarov took a lot of unnecessary abuse neither deserved.

I'd agree with all that apart from 'great player'. He was very good. However, there were a couple of occasions where if his shorts had pockets, his hands would have spent most of their time in them.

This theory is oft repeated but is it valid? It’s well possible that Kun will be out for two months, then out again for another spell or even two during the course of the season. So, bringing rotation into account, a player such as Dybala could get serious game time.No striker worth his salt is going to come here knowing full well he is third choice. Unless we are going to dig up some free transfer and throw him on the bench.
We simply cannot bring in another striker whilst Aguero is here. Current injury or not.
There is a shortage of world class strikers out there, even shorter list of ones who would make a move.
