Klopp played a blinder when he substituted the on field ref with the one in his pocket miles away in an office somewhere with a curly perm and tache to get the yellow card replaced with a red......inspired signing that VAR!
I can't believe the ref gave a yellow AND went to the monitor to check.
Was red all day but just shows how inept these officials are.

I posted a few days ago about some faint hearted fans appearing to be throwing in the towel before we have even kicked a ball.
It seems that quite a few others are beginning to fall for some of the constant hype from the media about how good teams in red are whilst like the media turning a blind eye to some of the strange mistakes of officials and opposition players already continuing in the same fashion as last season. Short memories seem to have forgotten, a
Century of points, a clean sweep of domestic trophies and a recent tanking of the dippers.
Some of the posters with the mard arsed comments are obvious fakes from the other teams with recently set up fake names include the current nuisance who uses the name of a former City captain in a smart arsed way. My dad went to Wembley as 15 year old when Sam promised the King we would be back the next year and he was as good as his word. My dad was there too and after beating Hitler single handed started a dynasty of Blues.
I digress on a personal memory. Looking at some of the very faint blue posts it seems some have been around quite a while and l wonder if some of these people are long term 'sleepers,' which makes them very sad individuals. Anybody who pretends to be a fan of another team in their forum needs to get a life, forget football and concentrate in the TV 'talent shows that blight us nowadays.
I thought it was my Royal Marine Dad who single-handedly beat Hitler?! Or did he have a bet with yours, a la Hancock.. 'Last one in the Reichstag is a sissy!' Couldn't agree more regarding some of the posts we've been getting lately; all doom and gloom, not even kicked a ball yet. And I double-agree with your comment regarding the TV 'talent' shows and others (especially those f-ing 'celebrity'/reality shows) blighting primetime schedules nowadays..

Literally the first game of last season: https://en.as.com/en/2019/08/11/football/1565540147_274480.html
Also:

The point is not to get into a pissing contest over who has had more injuries because, first as you point out yourself, your team is better and your depth blows out any other EPL teams out the water, so you should be able to deal with injuries better naturally. Second, we have had starters missing. We' already have an injury worry with Henderson, TAA missed first game, and Gomez was out this game. That's three starters in only 2 games. It's just not true that we "go all season without any key players out".
We had Laporte and sane out for half a season now imagine vvd and Salah our for the same amount . You tell me you would not struggle without your big guns .end of the day we would not have won the league if we were at full strength but it would have been a lot closer

The EPL average is 12%

sorry mate I meant the bit about players not being Dope tested for 7 months

Only just now finished watching hendo's pass that led to the sending off. Been on repeat since the game finished as I couldn't believe how he managed to transcend football. Hope I can get a vasectomy reversed so that I can have another son to call him Jordan. Gonna put a clip of the pass on a dvd and give it to my dad for christmas. It could be his last one so I want to make it extra special.

Couldn't get a stream tonight and couldn't find my radio - too portable it seems. So l had to settle for the match thread on here. Oh dear.
I cant post and watch at the same time and nor would I want to. From the posts that were more than just 'FFS' or 'get in' l get the impression things were doomier and gloomier but I will see for myself tomorrow. We got the points and that's the immediate concern.
I hope tomorrows 'news' contains something more newsworthy than a Maguire type of sycophantic interview with Little Mix and their new talentless show one of many to bombard us with until Christmas.
I love being a miserable get.

...what special times??? slurping the contents of a spill tray whilst drying a dimp you fished out of a urinal on a radiator?

You used to dry them? :-)

That reminds me of visiting a pub down in Cork a while back. A regular went into the pub kitchen to make a phone call (very small "old mans pub" in a village) and noted a toilet roll in the microwave.
On returning to the bar he asked the landlord what it was doing there.
Landlord replied that it had fallen in the urinal and he was drying it out!!!!!!
