for the first time this transfer window im getting a little concerned -

Our links to Kounde seemed to indicate we had turned a corner on the type of player we were targeting...while Koulibaly would have been good his age concerned me a little

Kounde looks like he has everything to play in our system - pace, mobility great passing -that pace is essential in our high line especially with a pedestrian midfield in front of it (pedestrian when recovering at least)

Dias seems a bit of a backwards step - no doubt he can pass but he looks slow on the turn which is dangerous with our set up.

Hopefully we get the right centre back

Id hope for at least one more signing as well - Aouar would be great addition to replace/take game time of Gundogan but it looks like he could be on his way to Arsenal

Ake, Torres and another Centre half is a good window BUT it depends on the third signing how good it is.

Diaz an alternative maybe due to the Gabby injury the money saved on the KK and kounde deals go towards a striker which is now just as much a priority as a CB

Dont shoot the messenger guy on Benfica forum posted this, apparently hes reliable if this is the deal then fair play

And they are not 50 M ...
There are 50 M less 5M commission to Mendes for the sale of the RD and 1.5 M for the purchase of Otamendi ... so it is a maximum of 43.5 M € ...

So he's costing us €48.5m. Unless we really needed to save that money for whatever reason it's more than a bit underwhelming.

Extremely disappointed if we sign Diaz. Same league and team that sold the rags Lindelof. This transfer window is turning into a disaster.

Seriously? i do not know enough about diaz to claim he is either good or not good enough, but are you basing an assumption he isn't good purely on the country, league and club he plays for? Some of the world's top footballing talent has come from that league, and club. Heck nobody minded benfica when wishing for joao felix.

if the club think he is the right player, i'll welcome him coming.
