Poor performance but can anyone imagine Liverpool or United conceding 3 pens at home? Michael Oliver really is the FAs man.

They were pens unfortunately that’s it,only the last one I would slightly question which saying that de bruyne cross sterling going for ball defender puts hand on sterling he goes down more of a pen than the Maddison one but there you go ..

Only positive is we’re 90 mins closer to the end of Mendy and Garcia’s city careers.

Just too many slow defensive players, combined with a high line and high press means just so easy for teams once they break past our initial press. And teams will break past the initial press, no matter how good it is.

Hate to single people out after a performance like that, but Mendy offers nothing. If you are going to be a liability defensively you have to be shit hot going forwards, but he offers nothing, just like ZInchenko.

We fall apart defensively when we get worried, we need a leader in that back line, Dias can't arrive soon enough on that front.

He’s an academy player so I don’t want to be disrespectful but if we manage to rob Barcelona of €18m for Garcia we’ll be defending ourselves in Court later down the line.

We are now down to one world class player and, unsurprisingly, he looks drowned in a sea of half-arsed mediocrity. Great goal from Mahrez but one contribution every few games is not enough. Has he ever knowingly won a tackle ?

The midfield around Debruyne went missing and a poor defence was exposed. The missed header from Ferna was the turning point for me. Free header you have to bury it.

Anyway, early doors but I think we need to manage expectations this season.
