Leicester City (H) Post Match Thread

3 penalties and 3 dives.
The diving and weak referees are ruining the game more than the handball rule. All to let the referees avoid using common sense eyes and brain at the same time.

Does anyone know if Vardys goal was checked for offside- looked close?
Denial is a lonely place mate. Face facts.

come on please people ? we are running scare after losing a game after a very bad injury hit squad.......

would also like to note why on earth did we sell or loan out Angelino ?
Answer to your first question: Because we shipped 5 after being one nil up, because we gave away three penalties and because there was total disconnect between the manager and the players. Injuries no injuries, team of our (supposedly) stature doesn't concede five.

Answer to your last question: Because almost everybody here thinks he is shit.

Fern shouldn't start in midfield ? Are you smoking something.

Give me a time when were losing a game with him there.

Its always fucking rodri and gundogan. Shitloads more conceded and zero attacking umph

They weren’t dives. It was professional play from their players to get wrong side. We’d absolutely want everyone of those calls going our way.

Everyone of our defenders has to be excellent 1v1. Today 3 of our defenders messed up in that area and got punished. The referee wasn’t the problem today. Not even close.

We got in some bad defensive positions but Leicester players just collapsed on contact. TV didn't question the pens but they looked questionable to me.

We barely created a chance and struggled defensively but that's hardly a surprise given that starting line up. We then got hit with 3 penalties against us, and a screamer. it's not normal. Vardy's 2nd goal was world class even ifGarcia completely switched off.

The TV set the tone, you can bet if that was either of the red darlings the narrative would be “it’s a tangle of legs, a coming together, no intention to tackle” etc etc.

If Oliver didn’t give either of the last two I don’t think VAR would over rule.

For Vardy’s second there was no desire from the defence to get back into good positions. We had numerous opportunities for crosses from similar positions and Leicester’s defence worked their cocks off to be in good position and we didn’t get a sniff. I can’t believe how poor Garcia’s all round game is.

I am still fucking livid at this performance. We completely fucked it up from about minute 35th. Until then they had no attacking moves, Garcia solved the couple runs they had, no shots at ll from them.

But when the going gets tough Sterling, Mahrez are nowhere to be seen to help out at the back also thy are not pressing well enough Dont be so fucking comfortable guys...
Foden had probably his most useless game in a City shirt. Scoring last two games and playing well, dont know why he had such a bad game now.

Dont get me started on defence and the midfield that did absolutely nothing to stop Leicester getting to our box with 1 good pass and 2 good runs multiple times.

Worst loss for Pep. and this is Leicester city, not the Bayern, Barca, Liverpool, PSG etc...

Worrying indeed that taking off an ageing 35 yo DM would reduce us to the football equivalent of the Torrey Canyon.

Fern had gone at that point and Leicester players were coasting past him with ease so taking him off was the correct decision. If, & it's a big if, we had a suitable player to bring on. We don't currently.

You have to put it in context tho.

The establishment are sick to death of city winning everything. Didn’t you see how elated they were on Sky? It was like Liverpool had won the CL again.

They were loving it. That presenter wanted smacking, winding Micah up. I doubt we'd have got all of those penalties and they'd all have said we went down too easily if we did.

We were piss poor at defending the wings and never looked like creating a thing going forward, despite having the best attacking midfielder in the world. We need pace and a selfish striker always looking to shoot.

Jesus Christ if you think like that just walk away now and save yourself the misery.
They were plain as day penalties. This isn’t 1972.

Is Pep's mind at the right place ?
He looks depress. He had a big personal tragedy to deal with and even before that he was a bit dejected this season.
I don't feel good about this season along with the entire dilly dallying in the transfer window to save a few millions

Big personal tragedy, my god we will all go there.

My dad died when I was 30, I had a brother who was 20, worshipped my dad. A mother at 52 with no pension to fall back or a house of her own.

I was no millionaire looking after footballers. But you battle on, you get up and do your job.

We have gone soft

Yes but possession is everything to Pep . We were winning this game. When possession and retrieval of the ball fails there is no plan B. So he had better correct it . Maybe he cant especially with the injuries etc. But when they are all fit we will see what happens.
I'm normally positive overall but it's the inability to hold on to a slender lead and keep the intensity to a high level that has me concerned. Why should we be thinking every single game that we are going to need 2 or 3 goals to win? Why isn't 1 goal enough? We know the answers .
Do we know em?... I'm not sure...
