Mendy looked MUCH better.

Torres stabs n flicks are beautiful. Just needs to get on the same page with Sterling n KDB.

Want to see more of Palmer involved with the attack.

Dyche obviously had some bad sex or lost some money in a wager.
Or realised he was managing Burnley. I actually quite like the guy he seems alright

Opta - Raheem Sterling has scored 32 goals for Manchester City since the start of last season; the most of any Premier League player across all competitions in this period. Guarantee.

Just sayin'

I quite enjoyed that. We are playing well and if Sterling has his shootinot boots he would have substituted by now clutching the hat trick ball.

Mendy playing well, Torres looks a real handful.

Couple of early goals please in the second half and lots of personnel changes.

Thought our running off the ball was very good. Much better than it has been for quite a while.

I am guessing someone sat down with Mendy in the last couple of days and pointed out where he needs to improve. Possibly his best allround performance for us.

I do like Torres. He's sharp, looks to get involved at the pointy end. He gave the ball away at one point that led to a tame Burnley attack but he will learn.
Agree....He is a direct player with the skill and trickery to beat players or get out of a hole, the risk is losing the ball but if we stay alert and ready it should not be an issue

The last thing we want is to eradicate his ability to take players on and be direct from the wings.....it is something we have lacked

Early days but promise in that. Having said that, we tend to dispatch the agricultural teams fairly easily. Struggle a bit more with the more technical sides

Lots of praise for Mendy's attacking play tonight and well deserved, but the most pleasing thing he did in the first half was the perfectly timed slide tackle by the touchline. Not seen that combination of confidence, aggression and defensive awareness from him in ages.
And there it is in one word. With confidence he’s a 50m left back. Without it he’s terrible. Maybe release his social media reigns again and let him be himself

Yeah our press isn't really being worked here. But we're doing a lot of other things right which is the big plus.

Hope Steffan gets some good shifts in. Sick of US fans wanting him replaced with Matt Turner. There's no reason to switch him out in November.
Needs to work on his feet. He’s looked a little awkward at times. His left foot is a definite swinger.

Rest of his game looks ok but not tested yet either this game or last week tbh

Not a bad first half, some decent chances and sterling took his goal well,Torres unlucky, but a few times they have nearly got in and this is basically Burnley’s second eleven bar a few ..

Apart from not being able to hit target. Could have had three instead of just the one. This is going to cost us this season like last, Bury sides when we can instead of not finishing them off Burnley will probably have one shot and score
He's hit the target forcing 3 or more saves from peacock.

Think he's had a good game, certainly one of his better performances as a centre forward.

Gundogan plays those little dinked balls over the top of the defence that no other player in the team plays .
Once in a bluemoon , when we're playing West ham or Fulham, when there are at least 20 yards between him and the nearest opposition player and when we're leading 4-0 already
