Hope we don’t switch of in the second half.
We’ll have to play well for more than 50-60 minutes.

More of the same until the 95th minute please.

And there it is in one word. With confidence he’s a 50m left back. Without it he’s terrible. Maybe release his social media reigns again and let him be himself
We have a handful of players that seem to lack confidence, but that when they switch on they look world beaters (Mendy, Stones, Bernardo, Jesus, Sterling). Hopefully this is the season we see the best of them all.

Or realised he was managing Burnley. I actually quite like the guy he seems alright
Burnley played bunch of friendlies over here a few years back. I got drunk wuth a few of their fans after a match. Think it was when Coyle was managing them. Talk about a bunch if guys just happy to be in the top flight.

He's hit the target forcing 3 or more saves from peacock.

Think he's had a good game, certainly one of his better performances as a centre forward.
He certainly has but would like him to be more clinical. Finishing doesn't come naturally to him though he has improved season on season.

Big improvement so far. Burnley are ideal for a player like rodri. Mendy good sterling dangerous. Would like to see Bernardo and delap second half.

Kdb seems to play a lot in this age of resting players. Same with Raz

Sometimes you take for granted Mendy has been coached by both Guardiola and Bielsa.

And both rave about him. Bielsa thought he could be the best in the world. Pep made him the most expensive LB in history and has stayed with him through all the injuries.

It's always about the injuries with Mendy. People are talking about confidence but I think it's confidence in his own body he's been missing.

I said 2 days ago i thought he started playing first touch passes and crosses for the first time since his injury vs. Leicester and it was a sign he was coming back to something.

He's had less of a preseason than the others and he needs to stay fit, but he's shown the vision and timing for those inside balls and the crossing is all still there.

We just need him to stay fit.

I've watched Dyche in interviews and he seems like an alright guy. He may seem like a prick on the pitch but its just what happens in football isn’t it

Sterling has been hit & miss as usual. He took his goal brilliantly and forced a really good save from their keeper in a 1v1 but also made a real mess of some great Torres service especially that pass he made with the outside of his foot which was KDB-esque.

Mendy much improved and back to hitting crisp 20yd passes right into players feet in and around the edge of the box. Great pick out for Sterling's goal and I don't think he's misplaced a pass yet.
