As I tweeted last night, the offer went in for a left back yesterday. Expectation is that there'll be movement today. Zinchenko isn't relevant to the transaction as far as I've been told. The decision to bring a player in has been made.

Should know later if it's Tagliafico.

Any progress on this, blue? :)

He lost his professionalism when he was less than truthful with the club with regards to his intentions to leave. If he had of played it straight most of us would have wished him all the best for the future at his new club. You cant have it both ways.

You're guessing when all evidence points to the contrary

Pep clearly thought he had signed a new deal and openly said as much in an interview. If being dishonest to your manager and fellow cule is not unprofessional then you are correct.

He will not likely feature now that City have considerable depth at CB, no logic to play a player who wants to leave as a result

No idea how his performances were noticably worse since Pep announced he was off when we already know the 1st half against Leicester he was arguably the best player on the pitch.
Blimey,when did playercam return?

Not sure we should be so sensitive about this. It's his boyhood club in his home country. Plus, we have brought in two big signings in his position. If he wants to move then fair enough, as long as he continues to behave like a professional, then fair enough. The fact tha Pep has played him suggests his behaviour has been good.

I am sure some players who have signed for us pressured their previous clubs to leave. Mahrez being a recent case.

That's a point Ric, but Barca are the twats who are trying to low ball the transfer fee, for a player that they supposedly seriously want.

Why should we roll over for them, we don't owe them anything ?

I get the fanboy @ FCBarca rooting for the transfer, but Garcia should show some loyalty to City for the time spent here and the opportunity to play with the first team.

Don't suppose Barca were too worried about the CAS case and us being fucked over by the selfish fuckers in the UEFA cartel.

If they want the player they should stop fuckinng about and negotiate a deal properly. And Garcia will have to sit there until a satisfactory offer is made.

He never said he had signed a new deal

Pedantic mate. Pep’s reaction to him refusing a contract is all the proof I need. He screwed over the greatest cule. Garcia has the characteristics of a snake. In a few seasons when the lad is deemed not good enough. I will wait with bated breath on how your misguided judgement and self righteous view has changed.

Which would be fandabbydozy if the games only lasted 45 mins.
Or if it was even close to being true.

And what evidence would this be?

I'm guessing you think your 'opinion' (for want of a better word) counts as evidence? A bit like your continued insistence that 'we all know he was the best player on the pitch for the first 45 minutes against Leicester'. He wasn't by any measure although he was possibly the worst in the 2nd half. Perhaps you're just confused over best versus worst?

Nothing to do with him wanting to leave. I think he is shit and it seems like Pep had a soft spot for him due to his Catalan roots. Too slow, too small and weak.
Just the fact that he appears to be sponsored by Remploy is enough for me... Compare him to Zabba who would literally die for the team yet this **** chooses to wear a crash helmet in case he gets a knock... Defending is in your blood or you might as well hang your boots up....

I think he had 16(?) stitches in his head, it probably isn't his choice.

So we're inventing scenarios, ok

Wasn't the comparison to Zabba for Tagliafico not Garcia?
