No, but she was caught flat footed and Stokes was in her eyeline.

Hard to react to a ball coming over the top when you're moving forward, even slightly.

Seen loads of men react the same way to those shots.

Sam Mewis I thought started off a bit ropey , some of her passes , but by the end of the half she the best player on the pitch , she running for City , always seems to be pushing on the attack. My player of the match at the moment

Good half of football that was. An enjoyable watch. Though we're still guilty of not taking some good chances. Hope the quality remains in the 2nd half. Mewlis looks a beast of a player and add Lavelle into this mix it's gonna be fun going forward.
