I liked the way Diaz was pumped up and showing the team some leadership but then the Ref ruined it by blowing for the start of the game.

Start pointing your fingers in the correct direction which is at the team. We ruined the game ourselves.

We need Aguero or Gabby back ASAP. Bernardo is also needed in midfield because Foden can’t play every game and some games aren’t suited to him yet. A left back is also needed within the next 48 hours. Dias looked promising, the rest of the team needs to be fixed now. Hopefully we can turn things around after the break but I fear more injuries and that waistcoat wearing twat needlessly running Kyle and Raheem into the ground

Pleased with the fighting spirit and the performance. Very difficult circumstances for a technically superior team like City.

People forget we are a bit behind in our preparation, played 3 days ago unlike Leeds, have injuries and are playing without a genuine striker, need time to integrate the new signings and Foden to develop gradually as Dave's reacement.

People forget we are gradually replacing legends of the PL like Kompany, Ferna, Silva and Aguero. It will take time. But I feel Pep is building another great team.

The moaners are free to moan. We can't replace legends immediately, specially when going through an injury crisis.

We will be fine.

When we got pep a spanish journo said pep would play with 10 midfielders if He could. I know what he means.

he is obsessed with similar types. Small skilful attacking midfielders .

we have spent an awful lot of money buying similar types of players and not focusing on key areas at the back and upfront .

this summer has all been about signing another Messi. amazing player but in terms of medium term is that what we really needed?

what is worrying me most is his apathy seems to be rubbing off on KDB and he looks very pissed off . It’s no good being able to thread the eye of a needle to a striker if you have no fucker to pass to.

All the terrible recruitment and squad management over the last few years is coming home to roost.

Players not good enough or injury prone. Players past their prime and no replacement brought in as the club isn't ruthless enough.

I said it will be a fight for top 4 and I'm sticking with that.

Think it will most definitely be Peps last year unfortunately too.

The OP was right. They were bailed out by 2 penalties, one of them dodgy as fuck

1st game of the season they were slightly off, still took their chances and won. Compare that to how they played against Arsenal, we are nowhere near that level atm.

I think because instead of buying the absolute best we've settled for average but still paid relatively high amounts for bang average (Mahrez, Rodri, Mendy, Torres).

You may have a point and us resorting to alternate transfers has been an issue as has our reluctance to meet the demands of clubs for top talent. I do however feel that we should be doing better than we are against opposition we are facing as lets be honest many of these players were in the best team of the last deacade if not more.

People writing us off already is utter madness. The players are not yet at full fitness. Mendy needs to be moved on he isn’t good enough. Mahrez lacks passion for this club and needs to be shipped out if possible. Need Aquero back desperately

We can blame the decisions going against us but we were pathetic and got played off the park by Leeds. They deserved the point and probably even the win. We shouldn’t have to rely on penalties going our way. We created absolutely nothing this game.

First move is to never play Mendy and Mahrez again...both shicking attitudes and performances time and time again....

Second is to realise that we need a goal scorer urgently as well as a more dynamic midfield...kev was shocking today but more worringly he also looked pissed off and that cimbined with some of his comments at the endvof last season would suggest that if we font improve this season he will be off
