It's not happening though is it. Another season of make shift left backs will have to do. And we still don't even know what Pep's future is. Just 3 games in and people have started to doubt him badly.

Just watched a opposition manager bring on our former youth player to have a go at Mendy to the point we had to bring him off! And some people think he will come good? No chance. LB needed before deadline!

Poveda looked decent in fairness and would have given most LBs in the league a good game based on his display. It’s almost like we’ve got a lot of talented lads in that academy of ours...

Completely agree though that we need a new LB as Mendy just isn’t up to it.

We should’ve been in for a striker regardless. Sergio won’t be around forever and Jesus simply isn’t clinical enough for us to fully rely on him.
