City have said he’s worth £10m to keep 12 months as back up, it’d cost us a lot more to replace him. We’d be daft to roll over when we don’t need to. If and I mean “if” we are likely to get Messi for a free then letting them have Garcia free in 12 months is a small price to pay.Yes I understand but we clearly don't need Garcia so turning down 17m seem quite exsessive.

Who's to say we're waiting on purpose until January to sell Garcia when we can use it as part of the deal to bring in Messi. Rather than take their money now, give them Garcia in return for Messi's signature. Thats what I think anywayOne of the few reliable ones says Barca offered €17m (incl. addons).
