Interesting/Unfortunate Names

Probably been posted, but there is a high ranking police officer/spokesperson on tv sometimes called Cressida Dick.

I’ve always understood it’s illegal to change your name to Lord as to avoid confidence tricksters. You could pretend to be a wealthy baron and have ID in that name. Cash worthless cheques or something.

Baron von Peoffey does have a ring to it

There’s one in Fawlty Towers whom Basil is determined to impress.

I’m quite well spoken and have found people often want to listen when I speak about certain things. A trustworthy opinion? I don’t think so.

Dont stand behind this guy.

Willie Stroker! I was going to do that this morning.

The only reason I remembered my last property conveyancer's name was because he shares it with an 80's Liverpool footballer. I won't say it but I collected Pro Set cards as a kid and knew every player by that.

I knew someone once and they were called Wasil Iwankin.
Think he was Polish. Or from that area anyway. He has probably been dead for years as this was about 35 years ago and he must have been 60 even then.

Went to school many moons ago with a lad called Humphrey Dunphy.
I know a girl whose father i think is German and her name is Chrystal Meth. She's about 17 now so born well before Breaking Bad started.

I used to work in medical records in a hospital and came across quite a few...memorable ones...

Fanny Feeley
Winter Snow
Phelim Daly

And there was a Cardiology Consultant called Professor Love :)

Finance Director at Towcester Building Supplies used to be Ray Gunn.

And a colleague at a former company where I worked was Don Wank (pronounced Vonk).
