United and Liverpool EFL project - proposal rejected

Isn't this one of the things that should unite all fans? We should let our clubs know collectively that we do not want them to support this. United and Liverpool fans in particular should be livid that their American owners have been getting together in secret for 4 years to come up with this. I have actually seem those type of responses thankfully, so even they have a tolerance limit.

I'm not saying our management/ownership are in support of this, I actually find that hard to believe after the "whispering behind our backs" and the hateful 9 letter to the CAS. However, we should make it clear, none of us want this.
TBF most United fans I've seen on social media seem to be ashamed of their club's role in all this. The same can't be said of liverpool fans from what I've seen. They generally seem to think it's a great idea and are getting arsey with fans of other clubs who don't like the idea of having their voting rights taken away. I always thought fans of those two clubs were basically cut from the same cloth. With every passing year it becomes apparent that liverpool fans are just totally out there on their own in terms of being utterly appalling arseholes with no redeeming qualities.

the line is the big 6, but this has nothing to do with 4 of them , it is the twatty two, reading all the press regarding this,"the other 4 clubs didn't know until it was leaked on sunday, i have a feeling we did know and leaked it.
The 'other 4' were told on Thursday before the leak on Sunday, I wonder who could have leaked this?

I wondered if this is what @prestwich blue was referring to some time back, when he said we had " something on the dippers " which we hadn't revealed . Especially if the planning for this concept was started in 2017.

It would make it so sweet if it was us who leaked it .

Maybe I spoke too soon on the Liverpool fans being against it then. The only difference I can see, is that United fans don't really like their owners, they know full well how greedy they are from experience.

So are Liverpool fans still in denial, about this being a power grab, for the elite to control football more than they already do? Or do they know full well but love that idea?

Liverpool call themselves socialists until they get taken over by an hedge fund, now they're the biggest capitalists going. And the Glazers, they are desperate, they've done all the loot in over at the swamp and need some more cash from somewhere. The failure to get Sancho in the transfer window has shown how desperate the rags are.

The 72 EFL clubs are completely in support of it. That's why he can advocate for it as EFL Chairman. This deal brings them north of £800m a year extra, the owners and boards of these clubs who have been fighting tooth and nail to keep them afloat or investing serious amount of their personal money were always going to take the cash.

Out of the 92 clubs in the pyramid, 81 are in support, 11 are against. But of those 11, 5 need to vote for it to make it pass.

Have they all made simultaneous statements this morning that I've missed?

Says who?

I think you need to provide a source for this "information".

Don't confuse silence for agreement.

I don't need a source because I am not putting words in anybody's mouth.

"A limited number".

Rochdale don't look like they're fully committed from the same article.

If the Rags and Dippers believe this to be for the good of the game then let them drop out of the Premier league to make it 18 teams, with how strong they are they will be coming back up the following season.

So one year out to show the faith they have in their own plan, anyone think they would do it?

Not a fucking chance.
