They are the opposite of what they portray themselves to be and which the media try to brainwash people into believing. In truth they have always been despicable, certainly as a fan base for as long as I can remember.

No doubt - the lad (prior to the arrival of Dias and Ake) single handedly kept our entire defence together, based at the half way line with 3 attacking midfielders in front of him, his full backs hanging around at the opposition corner flags and a partner prone to brain farts in Stones and Otamendi.

No wonder Van Dick can get close to his stats when he has 3 defensive minded midfield cloggers in front of him that never venture in to the opponents half and are completely bypassed in attacking situations via long balls.

I’ve been saying this for ages.

We'd see how good a centre-back van Dijkhead is if he played in our system.
