Yes; it's not as good as the original. It'd have it's work cut out, measuring up to the original. But, as "bad" cover versions go, it's not the worst. It's clearly a parody of various MJ videos (the werewolf, the illuminated pavement, split screens etc). Viewed in such a way, it works. Taken seriously, then no, it doesn't work. It's like saying that Weird Al Jankovic's "Eat It" is a bad cover version of "Beat It". Don't take them seriously,they're not meant to be.
