Liverpool thread 2020/21

I have just checked the news and sadly a 65 year old Exeter city fan passed away in the night after a short illness.
In 1972 he caught the train to Liverpool for the day.
I would just like to pass on my condolences to this lifelong Liverpool fan.
You will be sadly missed by the entire team, management, owners and your fellow Liverpool fans.

They are also in mourning over the death of geoffrey chaucer ( famous English poet wrote Canterbury tales) who died 620 years ago in 1400.
Geoffrey was a popular fan on the kop and was often in the arkles pre match singing ole ole ole and liked nothing better than a tankard of mead and a hogroast before the game

We outscore them because of Kevin. Take him out of this squad and we are nowhere near threatening an opponent’s defence. Salah and Mane not only finish their chances, but create them. When was the last time Sterling or even Mahrez beat their man? Our forwards are currently in terrible form and Pep has been refusing to shake it up.

The poor little kiddies on the red side of Merseyside never get to blow out candles on their Birthday cake.

I honestly dont care what you think but felt the need to point out that their so called better players constantly fail to outscore our apparent shitty ones.

I think the hog roast would just about meet the 'substantial meal' requirement under Covid regs
I hope the twat of a landlord had stopped his disgusting practice of putting all the slops plus left over beer into customers drinks and has the glasses washed properly before re-use.

Personally I feel Firmino is the most over rated player in Liverpool, maybe even in the premier League. His end product is crazy poor.

With that said I think Firmino has attributes that fit Liverpool's way of playing. That's why he plays.

I provided an answer to the reason to our inflated results who is called Kevin De Bruyne. Mane, Salah and even Son would outscore Sterling and Mahrez easily with the amount of chances Kevin provides for them. The fact is our attack is anaemic without him. Time to swallow our pride and acknowledge our frailties. That is the only way to improve....or just keep your head in the sand.

Because of its proximity to anfield he will always be packed normally with away fans. So he has no quality or standards. I would always recommend staying in town as Walton itself is a shithole

Firmino is a terribly wasteful striker but he fills in a role of being a sort of playmaker for their wingers. He certainly isn’t better than Jesus or Aguero as an ST. Does he complete their system? 100%
 
Just heard Jenas say Fabinho touched some of the ball so it shouldn’t have been a penalty. My eyes show me that before he touched the ball he smashed through his foot. They get enough help as it is without rewriting the laws of the game.

Law 12:
Direct free kick

Doesn't matter about "getting some of the ball" - absolute bollocks quoted by ex-footballers who never read the laws of the game.
It's a foul even if you attempt to kick or trip. You don't even have to make contact.

Ah the old "would if" argument. Which in the real world isn't an argument at all.

Also if you watch Sterling play, he creates a huge amount of chances for himself. The guys isn't a tap in merchant.
