Messi signs he stays,if he does not he goes, simple as that really I'd say
Pretty sad if it comes down to getting a decent 12 months out of MessiMessi signs he stays,if he does not he goes, simple as that really I'd say
After the shit show he conjured up against Lyon I wouldn't be so sure.He wants the CL.... and he can't get it. It's driving him nuts.100%

What if we get the golden ticket, Messi and Batistuta? If that's the deciding factor, thanks for the memories Pep, we can't be held to ransom and wait on the decision of an ageing Argentine, we as a club deserve better.

It does. We have only got to look back to the Swamp that season Baconface announced he was retiring, before he changed his mind. The uncertainty may be damaging the squad. Something is anyway, that much is clearpep doesn't look to have the same intention, also players showing signs of might be his last season. I don't think pep is really a long term manager overall, but I did think at one time with his relationship with the board he would make city long term. year off then Juve or PSG perhaps
I did say he will stay but changed my mind now, kind of feels like the mancini and pallers last season in this incredibly dead rubber season anyhow.
For all the “poch hasnt won anything”ers
Neither had Sarri.
Goes to chelsea and wins the europa league and goes to juve and wins the league. Sacked by both for not being good enough but still won trophies.
Managers dont win trophies, players do.
What you have to decide is, how do you want to win. Thats what a manager can influence. What he cant do is score the one on one when youre 5 mins from going out of the competition.
By all accounts Pep’s football philosophy has helped changed the way teams football and the way I appreciate it being played. But he is showing a lack of awareness or ability to adapt and for that reason could be our undoing unless our players (best in the league on their day) pull us through.
He did good for a number of years already. Did good last season toozThis season's Ande Villas Boas. There is one every year.
By that logic, they don't lose matches either ir fail to win competitions.
Pep didn't really lose 9 games last season or drop points this season, so all is good. Extension please.
I don't expect Messi to join us at all now and I think that will have little bearing on Pep's decision making. Its going to be difficult to get the winning formula back without a fully fit striker though..
How do you mean have little bearing on his decision ?
Course it will
You can blame pep for our style of play having been made less and less effective over the past 18 months that then leads to more losses.
My argument is, if the manager is capable enough then with our players they will be successful irrespective of their previous success with lesser players.
However all managers must evolve after being in the same place for a long time if they are to sustain success. Currently pep is not doing that. Other teams have been able to study our play for 4 years and come up with ideas to counter it. We have let them because we havent been flexible enough to change.
Even the best has a shelf life and we cant drag our feet
Why?How do you mean have little bearing on his decision ?
Course it will
