England hospital patients up from 7225 to 7454. Was 5402 last Monday. Last time this many in hospital was 27 May.

Ventilators up 662 to 681. Was 528 last Monday. Last time this many on ventilators 18 May.

In usual times a lot of fraud figures contain mistakes made by the DWP themselves, time to blame claimants again , typical tories
That figure doesn’t look so bad compared with the alleged fraud for business loans / grants that’s supposed to be between 10 and 20 times higher (£15bn - £30bn)

Look after yourself = someone fit not caring that we might have been in lockdown since march and will have to continue all winter , out of sight , out of mind

I say again, half at least of nhs workers are in high risk groups, should they not go to work and watch it collapse ?
No not out of sight at all, taking care of who you meet, taking precautions if you go somewhere. See you want everyone to do that so we all suffer, I just think those at risk should take the precautions instead of everyone or else they’ll be fuck all to care about in another 12 months time as everything will have gone to the fucking wall and collapsed anyway... no wonder I had you on ignore, back you go.

Do i think everyone should take precations in a pandemic ? Well yeah, you cannot not wear masks, etc , be careful and not go to raves or aything stupid , you dont know what suffering is ffs

No answer to the nhs point ? No fucker will acknowledge facts on here

Is that a fact that over half of all NHS employees are classed as high risk or are you making an estimate?

Regional Hospital data: Not great for NW but surprise for MIdlands

Patients /// Ventilators

London 674 up to 738 (was 549 wk ago) /// 110 up to 116 (was 88 wk ago)

Midlands 1344 DOWN to 1203 (was 936 wk ago) /// 153 DOWN to 141 (was 105 wk ago)

NE/Yorks 1806 up to1962 (was 1327 wk ago) /// 128 up to 138 (was 110)

But North West

2309 up to 2407 (was 1817 wk ago) /// 200 up to 215 (was 157 wk ago)

Those are all up a fair bit but have been worse.

The patient numbers were last at 2407 for the NW on 23 April The peak on 13 April was 2890. As you can see NW is today just 483 from surpassing the wave 1 maximum in hospitals.

The ventilators were last 215 on 5 May. The peak was 350 on 18 April. So a bit of a way to go to reach there but it is getting closer daily.

Estimate based on my experience , very high amount of overweight , very high black and ethnic minorities , we have more oversees nurses than ever before from different cultures , most of the above should have an underlying illnesses ,those are considered vulnerable , they have watched hundreds of frontline workers die but they still go to work , how far to go keeping vulnerable people out of that danger

The BAME community are very well represented in the other services like bus drivers and carers etc, a lot of bus drivers and transport workers died in the first wave

This is why i have a problem with people saying protect the vulnerable , it is a throw away line without the thought

It has been a very bad day in the North West and Greater Manchester is in the biggest trouble. One of the worst numbers yet here.

For the first time only three of the ten boroughs had less than 200.

Almost everywhere well up.

But Trafford had a very good day. By far the lowest in GM.

Stockport had its worst day yet. Not far behind Wigan today!

Regional scoreboard:

London 1787 - down all of 4 from yesterdays 1791.

Midlands 2170 - up from 1439

North East 970 - down from 1048 to lowest total since the lab mix up that impacted Scotland the other week.

Yorkshire 3000 - up from 2380. Not a good day here either.

North West 4724 - up from 4293 - highest NW total in a week.

GM had 2401 of that total - up from 2034 yesterday.

At 51% that is the first time GM has contributed more than half the NW total in recent times at least and is up from 47%/48% much of this week and 37% last week.

Have to say those who think the delay over going into Tier 3 was a mistake have support in what has happened in GM since versus what has happened on Merseyside where numbers have been going down.

Only if you believe that transmission was in the pubs as that is the only change from tier 3

they clearly have different tests in London.

makes absolutely no sense that the most densely populated city seemingly has the lowest transmisssion.

Gtr Manchester has 500 more cases than Gtr London. Nah

Someone not wearing a mask is going to get a smack in the mouth from me at the shops I swear. Getting sick of these selfish bastards who are prepared to give Covid to others, risk MY life whilst I am out wtf! Fuck that, they need a bit of telling.

All you non mask wearers thinking you're beating the system, you remember there are people who are losing loved ones to this shit, and they like me will be totally fucked off to see you walking around spreading this

Events elsewhere:

Bradford was the worst performer of the day today with 444 cases - putting its pop score up to 3099.

Blackburn also had a poor day clocking 200 cases - double a few days ago but not up with the 300 + of last week. At 3734 it is only behind Knowsley as the worst in the UK but catching it up.

Knowsley continued its fall to just 95 cases - half what it was pre tier 3 a week ago, So its pop score for by its standards a tiny 63 - less than Stockport today to give context! Still the highest at 3852 but no longer far ahead,

Liverpool fell under 300 today to its lowest score in weeks and further behind Manchester than any time recently.

Wirral fell too - so it appears the restrictions are working there. Hopefully GM will do likewise now.

Rossendale had a better day (79 down to 57) as did Warrington (152 down to 107).

Leicester though continued its slide. At 207 cases it had its worst total I can recall.

The hospital data I posted earlier shows this is not a one off factor. Whatever the reason - more exposure in the first wave as they got it bad before lockdown - different social dynamics - I do not think it is a fix but a genuine factor.

Though they may just be behind the curve and numbers are rising there. They are double what they were a couple of weeks ago.

You asked them if they’re exempt? Love it that you think if someone isn’t wearing a mask the best thing to do is get closer to them and smack them lol.
