As someone who also works in the industry that is a rather simplistic view and not strictly true. It all depends on how you work it out and the accounting is very complex.
No flights means no requirement for new aircraft which means production lines grinding to a halt and overheads not covered by sales.
The problem is a lot of those production lines have been shut already. A big chunk of the business and nearly all of the cash generation has gone. They’re on life support and a chunk of that gets turned off on Friday.
I’m not an employee and I only know a smallish part of their business but I do know the amount of cash paid out on furlough.
