The popular vote is subjective. You look at it thinking it means nobody wants M4A, a popular cross politic view for voters. Any poll would tell you differently. For me, logic dictates if they are not far apart on the popular vote, then it means neither of them are particularly inspiring.

That would make more sense than your offering.

The media IS MSM owned by the donor class, so you'll get whatever info they offer. That's pretty much acknowledged and why they lag massively behind online independent content. I've said nowt about any "rigged electoral college" nor "electoral map rigging". You do yourself a deep disservice by lying about me, there.

I didn't accuse you of talking about electoral college/map rigging, though you'd be right to give them a kicking, I lumped them all together with the general shit show that is politics in America and to varying degrees here.

My beef with you is not one of politics, but of strategy and tactics.

Put simply, for want of a better word "progressives" believe that powerful reactionary forces railed against them means they're never given a fair crack of the whip, because if they were, the mass of the people would embrace their policies.

I believe that, I suspect you do to, with your reference to "neither of them particularly inspiring" (I'm taking that reference as relating to Biden, Trump plays with darker forces).

Where we disagree is that given the situation isn't going to change anytime soon, I believe we have to play the cards we're dealt.

I suspect you do not believe that.

You believe the game is so rigged as to be not worth playing, and you let everyone know that's what you feel, yet despite this, you get really agitated about not winning.

But you can't win because you don't play and you don't play because the game is rigged and that is why you always lose.

I think Biden will win Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin and pennsylvania. If he gets Georgia as well it's a landslide.

Start counting your money.

Michigan looks nailed on.
Wisconsin also looks nailed on assuming the votes left to count are from the cities rather than the countryside.
Nevada's close but again if those remaining are mostly from Clark County (Vegas) then it should be a shoe in.
Georgia is no better than 50/50.
Pennsylvania has got a 600,000 gap to close with 1.8M left to count so needs to be 2:1. That could be very close too.
North Carolina looks out of reach.

If Biden gets MI, WI and NV though, I think that gets him to 270 anyway.

Watching ABC at the minute and a reporter has just claimed that the US invented the peaceful transition of power which the rest of the world copied.

Trump lost seniors with his handling of Covid and basically saying they could be sacrificed. That and being a twat of course which some senior don't favour.

Yes some choice Republicans have gained seats. Not a good sign for the future of that Party. Its turning more solidly in to the Trump party and less the traditional GOP, especially given he has thrown the polls masively again. This is not a good sign for the future of US politics.

Regarding a blowout, it could still by electoral college, but will drag on because it’s not clear enough by popular vote.
