A lot of red seats up two years from now.Republicans keeping the senate is a rather depressing reality.

I'd like right of reply since you're talking about me.Bigga is right of course, Biden is a corporate Democrat and all that entails, from a left wing perspective he has nothing to offer. Where Bigga gets brickbats is his refusal to acknowledge that Biden is, at the very least, not Trump, and that very least is actually a lot.
The reality of this election is that even if Biden wins, Trump won't be far behind him in the popular vote, which tells me that a very large slice of the American public are not particularly hungry for progressive politics, and why do I say that? Because millions of them are turning their noses up at the weak sauce tinkering Biden is offering
That is simply the reality.
it's not something that makes Bigga happy, in truth it doesn't lighten my day either, but where it gets irritating is that most posters in here acknowledge this, while he keeps howling at the moon for a politics, which no matter how appealing, has too few buyers.
Oh, false consciousness, right wing media, rigged electoral college, voter suppression, Overton window, donor class manipulation, electoral map rigging, blah, blah, blah.....Yes it's shit, but Bigga behaves like the kid who doesn't likes the rules, takes his ball away, but refuses to leave the field, preventing those who remain to at least kick a can around.
For over a month the Democrats have been pushing people to vote by mail while the republicans have been telling people not to do it. As more mail in ballots are counted it should start to favor Biden more and more.
Biden has a good chance of overturning Georgia and/or Pennsylvania too. He can definitely get them as the postal votes come in. Trump can’t win now if it’s a democracy. That would be 270-268. Insanity
Republicans keeping the senate is a rather depressing reality.
Republicans are also famous for making it as hard as possible for Democrat areas to vote in person, so obviously mail in becomes popular when the alternative is a 10 hour queue for a single polling machine that will probably either "break" or run out of ballot slips at some point. Meanwhile they make sure the Republican areas are running smoothly, so they are less likely to think posting it is worth the hassle. Is that why the mail-in ballots are so weighted towards the Democrats?
Slightly unusual because mail-in ballots over here are weighted more towards the Tories who appeal more to the older voter so it's surprising to read such a predominance of mail-in ballots for the Democrats.
Over a million? WatAP are reporting 94% of the votes have been counted for Georgia and Trump has a lead of over a million votes there - been working this morning so not been able to keep up as I would have liked, is there a reason that you’re optimistic?
Masks, science and social distancing have become a political issue in America. I subscribe to the theory that the Dems will win the majority of the postal votes, the Republicans went out to vote yesterday. Is that why the mail-in ballots are so weighted towards the Democrats?

Well past that numberWill he get 70M?
You’re right there.Over a million? Wat
It's around 100k diff which can be made up by the remaining blue counties.
I think it is going to happen on at least some scale almost no matter what, America is very divided at the momentIf that's the case I genuinely fear for what will happen on the streets in the US. I do genuinely fear it.
That’s disgraceful, they should surely set up an independent body to make sure all states are equal. USA holds itself up as the bastion of democracy and yet it seems like Putins Russia to meRepublicans are also famous for making it as hard as possible for Democrat areas to vote in person, so obviously mail in becomes popular when the alternative is a 10 hour queue for a single polling machine that will probably either "break" or run out of ballot slips at some point. A tad dramatic. The biggest problem will be when it's someone cleverer, more insidious, presentable and more machevellian than Trump. Perhaps who will push the "we need to spread the American Dream" line. Then you've got a more powerful version of Hitler, with nukes.
Eh?????? He has a lead of 100,000 and the remaining 8% to come in are postal which were going 4:1 to Biden.AP are reporting 94% of the votes have been counted for Georgia and Trump has a lead of over a million votes there - been working this morning so not been able to keep up as I would have liked, is there a reason that you’re optimistic?
So what your saying is, all their back handed, snide shinanigans might come back to bite them on the arse. :)Republicans are also famous for making it as hard as possible for Democrat areas to vote in person, so obviously mail in becomes popular when the alternative is a 10 hour queue for a single polling machine that will probably either "break" or run out of ballot slips at some point.
