I think 7 or 8 presidents have died in office so I’m guessing most of them struggled to attend their successors inauguration!

Who was it who said "it's the economy, stupid"? I forget.

But when it comes down to it, most people are selfish. Most people vote for who they think will deliver the best deal for themselves. And most people don't like higher taxes - taking *their* money off them - to give it to *other people*. They don't like *other people* telling them what to do. They want their own freedom.

That is why so many Americans are Republicans.

It was the Democrats who gave the power to the Federal Reserve originally. Doesn’t matter who’s in “power” because they have no power, the real power is always with the bankers.
