And the Southern District of New York is the home of the Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, who, although he has no juice when it comes to court proceedings, certainly would enjoy watching the bastard squirm in a court in his district.

As soon as he isn’t POTUS then Trump’s appeal is toast. It’s on the basis that a sitting President can’t be investigated. SCOTUS threw that out and let him appeal again on different ground and that’s lost in the first 5 circuits again.
