Me either.Again though,i'm not overly keen on him as a contender either.

But Sam City correspondent from the Ragletic assured me City fans wanted him out last week on Sky Sports. "Time for a change" he had heard City fans say. Funnily enough, I have never met a Pep out fan.
I think most are basing that thinking on him not signing a new contract. If he commits to the club,i expect 99% will be very happy indeed.I've seen plenty of Pep Out sentiment on here, not sure what world you're living in.
Literally the very next post after yours is saying they'd like a change.
I just saw that, deffo seems like an odd way to go...Reports that it will be only a one year extension which will then be relieved every season around April.
That sounds like a poor situation for the club.
That stinks of the manager being bigger than our club......surely we won't accept such a situation.Reports that it will be only a one year extension which will then be relieved every season around April.

Don't see why, he did rolling contracts at Barcelona, seems a good arrangement for both sides to come to a mutual agreement annualy.Reports that it will be only a one year extension which will then be relieved every season around April.

That is what he did at barca and the barca boys were happy with that , pep has done five years , perhaps a rolling contract is better than him signing for say two more and then wanting to leave after oneReports that it will be only a one year extension which will then be relieved every season around April.

So Pep was bigger than Barca too? He was on 1 year contracts there too. That stinks of the manager being bigger than our club......surely we won't accept such a situation.
Or the club say no and he simply leaves at the end of this season? It's fine, the happier we keep him the longer he stays, we will not get a better manager. How many big clubs have failed with multiple managers? Man yoo have tried all sorts and they are left with a useless bastard, Liverpool tried a few before klopp and Chelsea never seem to get it right for long, I hat makes anyone think we can replace pep with another successful manager? That is what he did at barca and the barca boys were happy with that , pep has done five years , perhaps a rolling contract is better than him signing for say two more and then wanting to leave after one
Pros and cons then i guess.Whats of paramount importance is that the players respond and still have faith in him,and he still gives 100%.So Pep was bigger than Barca too? He was on 1 year contracts there too.
Id say its a good thing because whats the point of making huge contract extensions as there is always chance things won't go smooth or that motivation could be lost from Pep himself.
1 year deals basically means that Pep will continue as long as he has the motivation, if he doesn't he can just walk quickly rather than sticking around going through motions to see out his contract.
For me he could sign a 3 year deal , then half way through either he or the club want a change and it becomes messy or expensive. This way it gets reviewed every March and if one party isn't happy we part by mutal consent and have 2 or 3 months to find a replacement in time for a pre season.Pros and cons then i guess.Whats of paramount importance is that the players respond and still have faith in him,and he still gives 100%.
If that equates to a one year deal,so be it.
Next year, yes. In January, Betway were offering 5/1 that Pep wouldn’t be City manager by the end of 2020; bit stingy considering his record at our club and his relationship with the management/their reluctance to change mid-season. Not sure it signifies anything other than a booky jumping on the media bandwagon of a manager ‘under pressure’, at that time.
Other than that, next manager odds have Pochettino as favourite with Viera and Rodgers just behind.
Rolling contracts have been around for years on both sidesDon't see why, he did rolling contracts at Barcelona, seems a good arrangement for both sides to come to a mutual agreement annualy.
You genuinely see that as a possibility ?For me he could sign a 3 year deal , then half way through either he or the club want a change and it becomes messy or expensive. No I don't which is why I have no issue with a one year rolling contract s a longer contract wouldn't make any difference. You genuinely see that as a possibility ?
In all honesty I think the level of mutual respect between Pep and Khaldoon etc is so high it would likely never come to that, both extremely honourable men who know what giving their word actually means imo, it would genuinely sadden me if those events ever played out.
