Can't get the shutters up. Give em a chance

Off topic, but oddly enough I live around the corner from that place.

Trump still firmly in fantasy land. He should be tried for crimes against his own citizens.

Yes -- due to Georgia. Both Senate seats were up for re-election which is unusual (Senate terms are staggered every six years so every state has an election for one of two Senate seats every two years, and then a cycle off for two years) but happened because former Senator Isakson resigned/retired at the end of 2019 due to Parkinson's.

In GA -- again, very unusual -- if no candidate gets a majority of the votes in the general election, there's a run-off among the top two vote-getters. No one did in either case. That means both Senate seats are still open, and if the Democrats win them in the run-off (on January 5), the Senate will be split 50/50 Dem/Rep, giving the President of the Senate (The VP Kamala Harris) a tie-breaking vote should votes split exactly down party lines.

It's Rep Senator Perdue vs. Dem Jon Ossoff in one election, and acting Senator and Trump-enabling grifter/stock market swindler/investor-relations-head-who-slept-with-and-then-married-the-CEO of Intercontinental Exchange Rep Kelly Loeffler against Dem Raphael Warnock in the other.
I applaud your adjective laden description of Kelly Loeffler. I can think of a single word that would describe her adequately as well.

Don’t think I’ll bother.
Bet he doesn’t take questions.

It’ll be like the one last week.
He’ll tell you that there’s thousands of witnesses to the fraud in the election and he really won, including the popular vote. He’ll mention how great he is and how this will all go away like he said, then walk off.
So haven’t watched any of it tonight.
Was I anyway close?
