I wish all City’s teams would realise how important corners can be. There’s no point in dominating most of the game if we can’t defend a corner. We didn’t do enough justice to Greenwood’s corners at the other end, either. We only have Mewis whose good in the air from what I can see.

Despite the disappointment of the 2nd half, we were great in the first 45. We need to build on that and cut out the errors.

Bronze was at fault for the first but the pass she received was under hit.

I was actually impressed for the most part, errant finishing cost us but to go there and make them look like mugs for the most part is worthwhile.

Definitely reason to be disappointed but let's not forget the highs of the first half in the process.
Yes, dominant in the first half by playing a fast, proactive pressing and passing game. As good a first half by a Sky Blue team I've seen this season.
But 2nd half, both the team and manager were too cautious.
Subs were made far, far too late. There is very little "risk" with both City's first teams. Winning a league often needs that gambling or bold mentality with the players and management. Am to be convinced that Taylor has this.
Having doubts that Pep has it now, with a safety-first attitude and very poor substitutions...

Sorry but still fail to see what Walsh is there for. Always ten yards away from closing their midfield down. Greenwood ok. Houghton not the player she was. Bronze hopefully having a blip.
I think Walsh is great, but the last couple of games she been anonymous. Think I heard her name once today , I don't know what's happening with her, but she seems to of gone backwards big time this season. But a lot of players seen shadows of themselves so far this season. The Americans haven't shown much (Mewis as shown moment's but really need to do it for the 90), Lucy Bronze also hasn't impressed much either when she's started .

Yep,Taylor was a tactical disaster with the kids.

Odd that he's now been given the opportunity to stagnate/regress the ladies.
Maybe Taylor is a hindrance but today was more to do with failing to make our passes in the 2nd half than tactics.!f anything, Utd seemed to play a more direct game and forget about tactics as the match wore on.

Stoney seems to be more switched on than Taylor, and didn't hesitate to make the necessary changes to the rags team . Being 2 goals down meant that she had to do something admittedly , but at least she changed things.

Not sure what Taylor was thinking whilst watching them take control of the 2nd half .

Stoney just made the game simpler with the introduction of Hansen. They got closer to us in midfield rather than just relying on a forward press. Sometimes tactics get in the way of a good performance.

We don’t have the type of marauding or very fast forward that gives us the option of occasionally bypassing. Midfield.

It was all to do with missed first half chances for me, and that is down to the players.
Yes, we go 3 nil up and the game is as good as over.

Stanway missed a couple from a similar position to Heakth’s finish and we should be putting away more of Greenwood’s excellent crosses.

Should have been 5 or 6 to be honest, easily the best this team has played together, united were always going to improve, but we started rushing passes, and giving it away needlessly (again down to the individuals), and Sam Mewis who ran the first half, wasn't as good in the second half, but even then we had good chances, and gifted them a goal, what was that pass about ?

It's very easy to blame Taylor, but individuals cost us 2 points today for me, the play in the first half was excellent, but it wasn't rewarded as it should have been.
