I must admit I am at a loss to see why you would think my ‘incomplete sentence’ is at risk of causing histrionics, but its a side issue anyway so not worth worrying about.

I dont think we will agree on this one, or even on the nightlife in Bournemouth :-), but that is fine as it goes with the territory of posting on a forum, some handle it better than others.

Personally, as a tax payer, I think Marcus Rashford has every reason to comment on Government spending even if at the same time he is investing in his families future. Its not unique to him and even our very own Vincent Kompany has been investing in property while highlighting issues in relation to homelessness. To suggest the two cannot be done simultaneously only removes powerful voices, which rightly or wrongly are more likely to impact change. I would much prefer sportsmen to speak up on issues which benefit society.
I wish your support for City was as strong as that for this United player but Mr Contrary loves to argue with City fans as we have seen so often in the past. I leave you waiting for the next PR release from Ashton. I am sure it will be in the Mail which must be the favourite paper of Bournemouthers.

Ok, not quite sure the reason for the arsey response. To me its not an argument just a differing opinion on a forum, its unfortunate you see it that way.

Anyway never mind, enjoy the rest of your day.

Fairy snuff. Perhaps youve been in Bournemouth too long to spot a bit of piss taking about some of your past argumentative posts and about the town that is so sleepy that walking is deemed 'aggressive'.

Lady Brady on BBC about Covids effect on football:
' Besides the football pyramid generally there is a pyramid in the Premier League. Some clubs are owned by sovereign states, some are not'.
Some women are good at journalism, some are not. Some are good at business, some are good in tv shows, some are not, Lady Kazza, and although you dabble in all three you fall amongst the 'are nots'.
She did look younger than normal. How can that be?

Karen Brady has just been on BBC Breakfast talking about COVID impact on football finances. She trotted out the usual "some clubs are owned by sovereign states" nonsense again.

Somebody needs a word in her ear and get her to retract that statement in public. Unless of course she is talking about other clubs in which case I don't give a shit

Typical BBC have a headline on the web page that a rag player has been called up to the Women's England squad. With the eye-catching, (nauseating) accompanying red scum shirt photo.

The article goes on to list the full twenty-nine player squad, of which four are rags.

It fails to mention that City have a record-breaking twelve players in the squad.

She is just repeating the racist narrative which suggests that because our owner is a wealthy Arab the club must be run by the Abu Dhabi government. We have just been through an 18 month legal battle with UEFA which comprehensively shot that malicious claim down in flames. So why no challenge from the BBC reporter?
Can you imagine if pundits started to refer to Chelsea or United as being "backed by Israel" because their owners are Jewish and have strong links to Government figures in Israel (especially Abramovich). You can't imagine it because it would never happen. People like Brady, who is backed by porn barons, sicken me.

She'll be a regular on talksport soon with that kind of talk.
